Recampesinizando los usi civici: Estrategias socioecológicas tradicionales de manejo del territorio entre pastores en Baunei (Cerdeña)

Agrarian industrialization and new food regimes have radically changed socioecologies of local global agrarian structures displacing traditional socioecological strategies land use management. This paper analyses this transformation from an agroecological perspective by raising the question how activities uses commons in municipality Baunei (Sardinia, Italy) with a special focus on livestock farming. Ethnographic research –through participant observation methods open semi-structured in-depth interviews– has enabled to reconstruct its management as well changes produced agricultural modernization modernity at large, finally, unveil perspectives re-peasantization among Baunei’s shepherds obtain more feasible sustainable farms. study highlights tendencies seek for cooperative answers, including internal reflection meaning managing (in usi cicivi) provides insights potentials such social cooperation practices together techniques organizational building just systems.
